Sirna & Sons Produce in Ohio seeks a dedicated Produce Prep Worker to join our fourth-generation family business. You will wash, trim, portion produce and maintain prep areas for daily production, ensuring safety and quality throughout the facility.

You must have expert knife skills, strong organizational abilities, and at least 3 years of produce-handling experience in a professional setting, with proficiency in English and a valid ID if required. Friday shifts possible in some cases.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Speak and write English satisfactorily.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling fresh produce in a professional kitchen or related environment.
• Expert-level knife skills with safe handling and preparation of produce.
• Valid identification or driver’s license (if appropriate).

Responsabilidades

• Wash, peel, trim, cut, and portion produce items per daily prep lists and company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of prep areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper glove use, handwashing, and equipment cleaning.
• Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations.

Last minute catering, no problem. Our in house produce processing facility, Christine’s Cuts, we got you covered. We distribute our fresh arrivals 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. Essential Functions:

• Wash, peel, trim, cut, and portion produce items per daily prep lists and company guidelines

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
• 7:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay Rate:

• $18.00 - $20.00/hour

Physical Demands:

• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in cold and wet cooler environment for extended periods of time
