Job summary

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM quality and preparation guidelines.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department continuously and keeps sweep logs.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready; attends trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and suggests upsell where appropriate.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
• Adheres to safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintains clean, sanitary working/shopping environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Occasionally performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
