Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is hiring for a produce team member in the United States. You will perform processing and merchandising tasks, ensuring quality and sanitation while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and team members.

Responsibilities include cutting produce, maintaining sampling, accurate pricing, and upholding health and safety standards. No prior retail experience is required and a flexible schedule is expected.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department and maintains sweep logs.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Maximizes sales through prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows established procedures including health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
