Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Produce Team Member to perform preparation and merchandising tasks in the Produce department. You will ensure quality, maintain the sampling program, keep the area clean, and help customers with friendly, efficient service.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and adhere to store procedures and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Cleans department and maintains logs.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation and safe work practices.
