Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Arlington, MA, is seeking a Produce Team Member to perform processing and merchandising tasks within the department. You will provide courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members while following store SOPs and health and safety regulations.

Key duties include cutting fruits and vegetables, maintaining quality, managing samples, and ensuring accurate signage and pricing. This role supports team goals and participates in required trainings.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables, following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Keeps department clean and logs sweeps.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintains a clean working and shopping environment; operates equipment safely.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
