Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Framingham, MA is hiring for a Produce Clerk. You will perform processing and merchandising tasks in the produce department, providing courteous, friendly service while adhering to store SOPs and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include cutting, preparing, stocking, and merchandising products; maintaining cleanliness; delivering excellent customer service; and supporting department goals with accurate signage and pricing.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand 6-8 hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety rules.
• Maintains quality and preparation per WFM guidelines.
• Maintains sampling program and clean environment.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains pricing accuracy.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
