Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Produce Lead to oversee produce operations, maintain freshness, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will lead daily tasks, monitor inventory, rotate stock using FIFO, and support merchandising and replenishment with a focus on profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must Maintain all training and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead produce department operations and maintain freshness.
• Monitor inventory and replenish to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure accurate labeling, pricing, and compliance with policies.
• Uphold food safety standards and ServSafe guidance.
• Maintain club standards and support daily attendance and coverage.
