Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club seeks a Produce Lead to oversee fresh produce operations, maintain quality and freshness, and optimize inventory. You’ll ensure compliance with food safety standards, merchandising, and replenishment to meet member expectations.

We require 2+ years in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with FIFO, labeling, and basic computer tools. ServSafe certification is required and supported by BJ’s during training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead Produce Department Operations: maintain produce freshness and rotate stock.
• Manage Inventory Proactively: ensure product availability and timely replenishment.
• Accurate Item Labeling: ensure prices and labels are correct and compliant.
• Sanitation and Safety Compliance: follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
