Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Team member to support receiving and preparing products, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers. The role involves breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring WFM standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, rotating and checking codes.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains clean, sanitary environment and equipment according to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
