Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking team members to support the Produce department with receiving, stocking, and maintaining displays to meet WFM standards. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and working in a fast-paced store environment.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and move through shifts, and adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. No prior retail experience required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well stocked and front-facing.
• Assists with organizing displays of volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and prepared, dressed and ready to work; participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices; maintains clean work areas.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing and signs for accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
