Position Details

• Type: Full Time – Mid Level Store
• Reports To: Store Director, Director of Produce
• Directs: Produce Associates

Daily Operations

• Providing exceptional service to all clientele and sharing your expert knowledge on produce
• Maintaining, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Produce Department
• Properly pulling and rotating produce
• Working with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity
• Completing perishable inventories, maintaining proper paperwork and county of origin information
• Efficiently scheduling team members, completing orders, monitoring sales and labor, and completing the weekly purchase report

Company Standards

• Following all safety guidelines and reporting any missing or non-functional safety equipment
• Using the markdown program according to department policy
• Complying with all company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag
• Completing all required company training for the produce department
• Staying updated with the latest training and knowledge for produce and maintaining good communication with other departments

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly while moving and handling materials. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand, move between workstations, and lift, carry, push, and pull items. Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments is required.

This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision and hearing, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, often on slippery floors.
