Coastal Elite Pro in Michigan seeks a capable department lead to run daily store operations in the absence of the manager. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, safeguard product quality and freshness, and maintain store standards while supporting sales initiatives and company plans.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, performance development, scheduling, and ensuring safety and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership ability and hands-on work experience.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; suggestive selling is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is highly desirable depending on location.

Responsabilités

• Order, monitor, and maintain inventory with loss-prevention controls.
• Review received orders for accuracy, condition, and storage.
• Lead a team to complete stocking, production, and tasks, ensuring freshness.
• Maintain knowledge of products, sales, and promotions.
• Implement store plans, manage schedules, and support labor/payroll controls.
• Support department management in staffing, training, and performance development.
• Participate in meetings and communicate store goals.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment per company standards.
• Adhere to safety and guest experience guidelines.
• Perform cross-department tasks as needed.
