Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Produce/Stock Clerk to maintain fresh produce and floral displays, ensuring compliance with company standards and food safety practices. You will support customer service and sales efforts while keeping shelves well-stocked and organized.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a Food Handler certification and the ability to operate pallet jacks and related equipment in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Able to operate pallet jack and equipment safely.
• Retail experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock conditions on produce and floral displays.
• Operate pallet jack to unload from and reload trucks.
• Ensure dated product is rotated or discarded properly.
• Inspect product quality and maintain safety standards.
• Assist customers with price checks and product location.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling and friendly service.
