Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is a regional, family-owned retailer with over 215 stores across TX, LA, AR and OK. We’re seeking team members for our produce and floral departments who are dedicated to quality, cleanliness and friendly customer service.

As part of our team, you’ll maintain stock, operate equipment safely, and help guests find and select the best produce while following safety and company policies. Benefits include healthcare and opportunities for growth within BGC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate and clean motorized equipment.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on produce and floral display racks, tables, and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Collects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.
• Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.
