Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce & Floral Specialist to lead the produce, floral, and gift center departments. You will ensure product freshness, accurate presentation, and compliance with food safety standards while supporting guest engagement and promotions.

This role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and operational integrity. Responsibilities include inventory control, rotation, planograms, and coordinating with leadership on replenishment and promotions, with a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all produce, floral and gift center products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of produce, floral & gift center items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
