The Fresh Market in Columbia, SC seeks a Produce & Floral Department Lead to support the Department Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring a well‑run department. You will coach a team, monitor schedules, and help manage inventory and promotions with a focus on hospitality and accuracy.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years of retail leadership, strong communication, and a passion for fresh foods. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required; 21+ years old.

Competenze

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred; experience in grocery/retail is a plus.
