Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Cupertino, CA is seeking an entry-level Produce Team Member to support receiving, stocking, and display of produce products per WFM standards. You will assist customers, maintain clean displays, and help the team ensure accurate pricing and safe handling.

No prior retail experience is required. The role involves rotating stock, maintaining freshness, and working a flexible schedule to support peak times in a fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong willingness to learn growing processes differentiating conventional from organic produce.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, restocking, rotating, and checking dates.
• Assists in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes temperature, spoilage, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
