Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business related or food service-related field desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all Associates in the department and may oversee the Floral department in select stores.
• Promotes customer relations and resolves customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Takes customer orders by phone or in store, ensuring accurate preparation of products.
• Develops and implements merchandising plans, creates displays for new/seasonal items, and coordinates cross merchandising with other departments.
• Maintains inventories, tracks records, and analyzes monthly profits according to guidelines.
• Ensures proper receiving, dating, restocking, and product rotation; monitors quality and freshness.
• Controls department expenses, manages labor costs, and reduces losses due to spoilage or shrink.
