• Inspect, store, rotate produce on receipt and maintain inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Produce Department to maximize sales and profits
• Ensure daily operating disciplines per the Produce Manual
• Ensure Produce Department is ready for business according to needs of target customers
• Control inventory level by ordering products weekly
• Plan and execute seasonally and promotional merchandising
• Maintain efficiency and growth of the Produce Department through proactive planning
• Monitor gross profit and investigate variances
• Support, train and develop staff to deliver outstanding customer service
