Job summary

Kj's Market in Thomson is seeking a produce department supervisor to ensure guests receive friendly service and maintain high standards in inventory, quality, and safety. You will lead hosts, train staff, and help meet sales and profitability targets in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the produce/floral department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales and profits for the produce/floral department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets FLOCO Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to FLOCO Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure produce department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, conditioning, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s staffing and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
