Job summary

KJ's Market in Thomson, GA, seeks an energetic deli/bakery supervisor to ensure courteous guest service, manage inventory, and drive sales within the department. You will supervise hosts, train staff, and uphold quality and sanitation standards across the deli/bakery area.

Responsibilities include inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, and providing leadership to the team while maintaining budgeted profits and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and customer service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
