Sprouts Farmers Market in Round Rock, TX is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to support the Produce Manager in daily operations, merchandising, inventory, and team supervision in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will help train staff, ensure freshness standards, coordinate ordering, and uphold safety guidelines while delivering excellent service and growing with a welcoming, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that changes, including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and move pallets up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, and rotation of items.
• Assist in leading a team that delivers high quality product and great customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
