Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership ability and motivating a team effectively.
• Strong oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of technology and computer use.
• Retail food business and perishable department operations knowledge.
• Ability to apply safety training to identify hazards and proper equipment use.
• WI Certified Food Manager License; Festival covers certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Produce Department in the manager's absence and perform delegated tasks.
• Reinforce Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations.
• Train and re-train Produce associates; conduct performance reviews.
• Document policy violations and take corrective action up to termination.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate pricing on received and sold products.
• Provide customer service and assist guests with finding items.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety logs; ensure attendance.
