Festival Foods is seeking a Bakery Assistant Manager in Kenosha, WI. The Bakery Assistant Manager will support the Bakery Department Manager, lead bakers, train staff, and uphold safety and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate inventory, and consistent guest-focused service, with opportunities to collaborate with senior management and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership skills to motivate and lead a team of bakers and pastry specialists, with strong oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of technology and computer use in food service and retail bakery operations.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company policies; willingness to obtain proper training for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Department Manager in overseeing bakery operations and leading the team.
• Train new bakery associates and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain department standards, inventory, pricing, cleanliness, quality, quantity, and safety in bakery operations.
• Deliver outstanding guest service by helping guests find products, taking special orders, and addressing concerns with professionalism.
• Collaborate with Store Director, Bakery Director, and other managers to exceed guest expectations and ensure smooth operations.
• Manage timekeeping accuracy, schedule coordination with HR, and ensure regular attendance per schedule.
