Job summary

ShopRite of New Milford is seeking a Produce Manager to guide the Produce Department, oversee staff, and drive sales, customer experience, and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires leadership, safety compliance, and excellent customer service to maintain high standards of freshness and presentation. This position reports to the Store Manager and supports company service priorities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for shift duration.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Produce Department.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency standards.
• Maintain department records and temperature logs.
• Train and onboard new department associates.
• Interact with customers to provide excellent service.
