Job summary

ShopRite Hazlet is seeking a Produce Manager to direct the Produce Department, supervise associates, and drive sales and customer satisfaction. You will ensure safety, product quality, and efficient operations while modeling the company service priorities.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in labeling and inventory.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math and use simple computer functions.
• Ability to stand/walk for whole shifts and lift up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with fresh or processed products.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Produce Department and staff.
• Drive department goals: sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement.
• Coordinate safety, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance within the department.
• Lead associates, train new hires, and maintain daily performance.
