Job summary

The GIANT Company in Halifax, PA is seeking a dedicated team member for the Produce Department. You will assist with stock, arrange displays, follow food safety standards, and help meet KPI targets while supporting customers and teammates.

You must complete a 60-day probation, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have forklift training or be willing to learn. This on-site role offers steady shifts and opportunities to grow within our regional store network.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare for duties.
• Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, stock items.
• Check inventory daily, remove out of date items, maintain displays.
• Responsible for achieving all KPI targets for the department.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Track record and loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
