• Assists Produce Manager with merchandising, scheduling, and training.
• Creates merchandising plans to meet financial goals and monitors pricing.
• Oversees department inventories and weekly sales to support inventory counts.
• Schedules department associates and uses LMS for training.
• Manages inventory levels and backroom organization to ensure product availability.
• Checks deliveries and invoices for accuracy and restocking procedures.
• Controls department expenses, labor costs, and shrink; ensures proper recipes for prepared products.
• Maintains a well-stocked, appealing produce department and attends to special requests.
