Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is hiring a Produce Clerk to keep the Produce Department stocked, clean, and ready to serve shoppers with a friendly, energetic demeanor.

You will assist customers, maintain product presentation, support the fruit and vegetable program, and ensure pricing and signage accuracy while following department guidelines. This role requires flexibility with hours and a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Floral department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of produce department and surrounding areas.
• Stock, present, and rotate produce and floral products.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Inspect shipments for temperature and quality.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and signage.
• Operate equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, hand trucks.
• Assist with cut fruit/vegetable program and department profitability.
• Walk the department to ensure cleanliness and organization.
