Availability needed: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4 pm to 9:30 pm.

Job Summary

Sort, display, remove, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintain the environment by providing assistance to members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensure all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist members, answer questions, recommend products, and provide safe handling tips.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery, ensuring quality standards.
• Rotate produce on the sales floor, keep displays neat, and remove unsuitable products.
• Maintain the produce reserve stock area, organize and date all stock.
• Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged or expired products.
• Assist with inventory and order processing as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, fixtures, and storage areas.
• Generate signage and ensure accurate pricing.
• Perform other duties and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruits and vegetables, including seasonal items, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Environmental Conditions

• Frequent movement, bending, climbing, and handling in a variety of temperatures.
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

The starting pay range is from $16.25 per hour. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
