Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk in Minnesota. In the Produce Department you will keep the area stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering the kind of helpful service that brings customers back.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, rotating and replenishing merchandise, checking in deliveries, preparing and finishing products, and maintaining sanitation and safety. The anticipated hourly starting wage is $16.50 to $20.60, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist their needs to enhance shopping.
• Review merchandise for freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality.
• Ensure product supply is on-hand and manage production lists.
• Check in products, put items away, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as required.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Remove trash and contribute to department upkeep.
• Order product and price items for customers.
• Answer phone calls and provide friendly service.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines.
• Support other tasks or special projects as they arise.
