Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market seeks a Produce Clerk responsible for maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized Produce Department during business hours. You will assist customers, answer questions, and uphold a friendly, energetic demeanor consistent with department guidelines.

Key duties include stocking, rotating products, ensuring pricing accuracy, handling receipts and quality checks, and supporting the cut fruit/vegetable program.

Qualifications

• Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Ability to adapt to a high-volume retail environment and work cross-functionally.
• Flexibility to work varied hours/days as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Keep produce department clean, stocked, and organized per schematics.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selections; promote cross-selling.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for temperature and quality.
• Ensure tags, pricing, and promotional materials are accurate.
• Operate and use equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and box cutters.
