Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Responsibilities

1. Model the 3A’s of Friendly: acknowledge, assist, and appreciate our Customers.
2. Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
3. Foster trust and respect among associates.
4. Create a welcoming environment by answering questions about products and store services.
5. Gain and maintain knowledge of department products to assist customers effectively.
6. Assist with preparing produce platters/trays.
7. Inform customers of produce specials and recommend products.
8. Properly prepare, package, label, and inventory merchandise.
9. Inspect products for quality and freshness, taking appropriate action when necessary.
10. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise accurately.
11. Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to management.
12. Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with promotions and ads.
13. Ensure proper temperature controls and logs are maintained for cases and coolers.
14. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety programs.
15. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
16. Report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities to management.
17. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
19. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
20. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
21. Perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications
