Job Summary:
Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the overall environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensures that all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
- Assist members in the produce department, answer questions, recommend products, and provide handling tips.
- Inspect, rotate, and store produce, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Rotate produce on the sales floor, keep displays neat, and remove expired products.
- Manage back stock, organize storage, and follow disposal guidelines.
- Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
- Clean and sanitize all produce equipment and areas.
- Create signage and perform price checks to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all club policies and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular, full attendance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a produce department preferred.
- Knowledge of fruits and vegetables, including seasonal items, preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions:
- Frequent movement on hard surfaces, bending, climbing, and handling merchandise.
- Lift objects up to 30 pounds regularly; heavier objects with assistance.
- Work indoors with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
In accordance with Pay Transparency laws, the salary range for this position starts at $16.25, with actual pay depending on various factors including location, experience, and qualifications.
