Produce Clerk (Administrative)

Come join our Uncle Giuseppe's family as a PT Produce Clerk at our North Babylon store! If you love our food, you will love our Produce! In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh and must be handled, prepared, and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Responsibilities

1. Stock the Produce Department, including presentation of product, facing, filling, and organizing product items.
2. Properly stock and rotate merchandise in the Produce Department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure freshness and high quality.
3. Ensure proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
4. Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
5. Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude; ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Ability to speak, read, and communicate in English.
