Qualifications

• Must read and write English and interact with the public.
• Able to read simple instructions, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned, stock merchandise, set up displays, and review invoices for accuracy.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions, refunds, and age-restricted sales as needed.
• Offer friendly customer assistance and help load purchases when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies as part of basic bookkeeping.
