Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly to customers and employees.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing and rotate stock; stock shelves and displays.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and in the store parking lot.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient customer assistance.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties for store supplies and lost/damaged goods.
