Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Produce/Perishable team member to deliver quality customer service and maintain standards in the Produce Department. You will help with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise while upholding Food Lion policies and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes enthusiastic customer engagement, teamwork, and efficient operations to minimize shrink and maximize sales, with proper uniform attire and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in Produce.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merch aligns with policies.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO inventory systems.
• Follow company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge when on duty.
