Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Produce Clerk for the Hastings, Michigan location. You will maintain and operate the produce department, trim and prepare merchandise, and ensure shelves and displays are clean, well stocked, and accurately labeled.

You will weigh, package, and label products, assist with unloading deliveries, and support guest experiences while following all safety and cleaning guidelines.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic math are used daily.
• Detail orientation is essential for accurate labeling and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the produce department; trim and prepare merchandise per standards.
• Weigh, package and label products; rotate stock and merchandise shelves and displays.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stacking product in coolers; notify Manager to order supplies.
• Practice guest experience guidelines and follow safety and cleaning expectations.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer needs.
