SpartanNash in Plymouth, Indiana is seeking a Produce Clerk to maintain and operate the produce department, including trimming and preparation of merchandise, and ensure that the work shift supports the store’s financial interests.

You will weigh, package and label products, handle spoiled items, rotate stock, and merchandise shelves; assist with unloading deliveries and stocking coolers, plus practice suggestive selling with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year retail or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to handle fresh fruits and vegetables without allergies.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Cut, slice and prepare produce per procedures.
• Weigh, package and label products.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines.
• Fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking coolers.
• Notify Manager when products or supplies need ordering.
• Practice suggestive selling with customers.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE, safety and food safety guidelines.
