Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a team member to maintain department standards and provide friendly customer service. The role includes assisting customers, ensuring product quality, and performing receiving and stocking duties in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Shifts run 6-8 hours between 4:00 am and 11:00 pm; ability to work varied hours, including nights and holidays, is required. Training on safety and sanitation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and friendly attitude.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers; provide friendly, courteous service.
• Maintain department appearance and ensure product freshness and quality.
• Receive shipments, verify invoices, stock and price merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating items and handle returns/refunds when needed.
• Ensure correct pricing, signage and proper handling of products.
