Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Cincinnati is hiring Production Associates for our bakery production line. On-the-job training will cover dough and batter prep, glazing, icing, decorating, order picking and rack loading in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Join a team-focused operation that adheres to SQF and GMP standards. You must lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, pass a background check and drug screen, and be able to work a rotating shift including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bakery experience preferred but not required.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the donut production line and assist with dough and batter make‑up.
• Perform glazing, icing and decorating tasks as assigned.
• Assist in order picking and rack loading to support production flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow QA guidelines.
• Work as part of a team and support safety procedures.

Job description

Production associates will be given on the job training on our donut production line and areas for dough and batter make up, glazing, icing, decorating, order picking and rack loading. Faced paced, safe and quality driven environment. We are looking for growth minded members to add to our team.

• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Work as a member of a team environment or group of people
• Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow Company safety guidelines and requirements and use personal protective equipment when required.
• Self-starter, gets involved quickly, takes action to achieve production goals.
• Works with sense of urgency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Ability to stand / walk over the course of an 8 or 10 hour shift
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work a rotational schedule shift, work weekends, and most holidays
• Properly store, wrap, label, date and rotate products and materials as defined in our facility processes.
• Keep bakery area and floors clean, dry and free from debris
• Assist in the cleaning and deep cleaning of the production areas including equipment, coolers and freezers
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist other members of the bakery team where needed
• Job requires frequent twisting, bending and turning. Job will occasionally require pushing and pulling of wheeled racks and tables over 100 lbs.
• Associate must have good hand and eye co-ordination to work on fast speed conveyor belts.
• Properly complete required paperwork on a daily basis per Production and Quality guidelines
• Work around and with cleaning chemicals
• Shift Hours: with staggered start times between 4am to 8:30pm. (subject to change with training and volume demands)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid Driver Licenses
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
• Previous experience in a Bakery (Preferred) but not required.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Must have dependable transportation to get to and from the job.
