Summary/Objective

Ensuring practices are followed in support of the food safety program; maintaining equipment; keeping the bakery area neat and orderly. Efficiently producing large quantities of bakery products daily. Primary production processes include panning up dough, shaping/scoring dough, proofing, baking, topping, sheeting, and frying donuts, pastries, and breads. Primary packaging processes include panning up finished products by store category, packaging retail packs, boxes, printing labels, etc.

Reports to: Bakery Manager

Essential Functions

• Maintains sanitation and food safety through regular inspections of equipment, supplies and proper food storage
• Maintains proper rotation of products
• Mixes dough and batters, makes icings and fillings, and keeps the bakery neat and orderly
• Maintains systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food products
• Maintains systems and procedures for packaging and shipping bakery/food products
• Operates all equipment required by the position
• Performs additional duties as assigned
