Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics offers a pivotal Senior Manager of Procurement and Vendor Management role in Portland, OR. You will lead the P2P transformation, drive supplier negotiations, and shape a robust VRM program across the rapidly expanding SaaS ecosystem.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and Engineering to deliver cost efficiencies, risk controls, and strategic vendor partnerships, while guiding a team of procurement professionals in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing within a high-growth SaaS or software environment.
• Proven CLM implementation experience and ERP/P2P design; Tropic and NetSuite familiarity preferred.
• Comfortable reading and negotiating complex contract language (SaaS, MSA, DPA) with risk focus.
• Strong ability to translate financial and legal requirements into actionable strategies for stakeholders.
• Experience in AI governance or procurement councils with vendor risk perspective.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the procurement and vendor management center of excellence.
• Operationalize Procure-to-Pay in NetSuite; establish Tropic as spend-tracking system of record.
• Drive negotiations with technology and indirect spend vendors for optimal terms.
• Lead CLM integration with Tropic workflow in collaboration with Legal/Contracts.
• Perform initial red-flag risk reviews on key contracts before legal review.
• Direct procurement integration for recent acquisitions, identifying cost synergies.
• Provide spend visibility and position procurement as a strategic partner to department heads.
