Job summary

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory seeks a skilled data and procurement systems specialist to support, maintain, and improve Workday-based procurement data, vendor records, and document management. You will liaise between Procurement and IT, drive data quality, and support system enhancements under the Director of Procurement.

Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, supporting RFx events, and maintaining vendor profiles, punch‑out relationships, and inventory settings within Workday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ data management and transaction processing experience.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong Excel and Office suite skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential vendor information.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain supplier data in Workday ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinate with IT on Workday issues and updates.
• Support RFx events with system setup and documentation.
• Scan and file procurement records in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor open purchase orders and resolve supplier discrepancies.
• Serve as liaison to the Workday User community.
