Job summary

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a procurement data systems specialist to support, maintain, and improve Workday-based processes for requisitioning, purchasing, vendor management, and reporting. Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters and maintains supplier account data in Workday, ensuring accuracy of records.
• Acts as liaison to IT on Workday issues, enhancements, and updates.
• Supports RFx events, including system setup and documentation.
• Scans, uploads, and files procurement records per procedures.
• Updates vendor profile files and coordinates required forms from vendors.
• Maintains punch-out supplier relationships and coordinates quarterly reviews.
• Supports invoice match exceptions and data inquiries.
• Monitors open purchase orders and resolves discrepancies with suppliers.
• Serves as primary contact for Workday users and escalates complex issues.
• Leads data validation, clean-up, and migration for testing and rollout.
• Maintains Inventory and Par locations, and item settings in Workday.
