Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Program Specialist V to deliver expert technical and operational support for CAPPS Financials and SCOR systems within Procurement and Contracting Services. You will manage requisitions, procurements, and contracting processes, handle system configurations, and contribute to process improvements across high-volume operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure accurate and efficient

Qualifications

Initial screening criteria include experience performing systems analysis, systems administration, access management, information technology support in high-volume environments.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is generally preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational support for CAPPS Financials and SCOR systems for PCS staff and program areas, focusing on requisitions, purchase orders, procurement and contract-related processes.
Troubleshoot and support CAPPS Financials and SCOR level 1 technical issues; research, test, and validate solutions in CAPPS/SCOR environments.
Develop reports, analyze system information, and use CAPPS Financials and SCOR data to support procurement operations and identify trends.
