Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV is seeking an internal customer service professional for procurement support. The role acts as a liaison between staff and external vendors, handling order confirmations, status inquiries, and basic supply chain questions while maintaining ERP data accuracy.

You will work with Buyers on more complex issues, supporting daily tasks and participating in special projects to improve purchasing processes. A healthcare setting background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in Supply Chain Operations. Healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to navigate online learning and policy platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams and departments to achieve organizational goals.
• Create, change, and maintain requisition and purchase order data in our systems of record.
• Process incoming changes and execute according to SOP at the right quality and on time.
• Communicate with various departments to confirm full and accurate order details.
• Evaluate each request with the requester to understand the end goal.
• Execute requests from Supply Chain to support daily tasks.
• Support in special projects assigned by the Manager of Purchasing.
• Engage with management to suggest improvements and increase team efficiency.
• Fully conversant with Renown Health Purchasing Practice standards and relay them to user departments.
