We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist (Buyer) to join a fast-growing global technology company developing next-generation solutions at the intersection of advanced engineering, manufacturing, and global connectivity.

You will support global sourcing and purchasing operations, strengthen supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risks, and identify cost-saving opportunities with a direct impact on production and business growth.

This position is open to candidates based in Dallas, Texas, and requires approximately 25–30% travel to project sites in West Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, place, and manage global purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery and fulfillment.
• Monitor order status, proactively identify risks, and coordinate resolution plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate reporting on open purchase orders, delivery status, and supplier performance.
• Manage blanket purchase orders and ensure timely replenishment to prevent production delays.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Participate in cross-functional procurement and engineering meetings.
• Oversee weekly inventory consolidation across multiple locations.
• Ensure suppliers meet shipping and booking deadlines to maintain logistics efficiency.
• Analyze spending categories to identify cost-saving and process optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement continuous improvements across procurement and supply chain processes.
• Generate and analyze supply chain KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
• Support demand planning by evaluating supplier lead times and forecasting production requirements.
• Resolve production and supply issues that could impact delivery schedules.
• Communicate risks related to supplier delays, shortages, and logistics constraints.
• Track and improve supplier and overall supply chain performance using measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of purchase order management, order fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
