Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented Material Control / Purchasing Associate to work on-site in Torrance, CA. Qualifications

• Two years college curriculum or 3+ years of experience interfacing with material control/distribution/production systems.
• Knowledge of order processing systems, spreadsheet software, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Process all purchase orders and related requests accurately and timely.
• Process EDI orders to factory and schedule manufacturing orders for production.
• Communicate with factories to plan shipping and production schedules.
• Monitor invoices, order dates, and required documents; maintain optimal inventory.
• Identify material control issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare for monthly inventory and obsolescence reviews.
